Challengers
Holy shit that was incredible. This will be in the top of the year for me fs. I don’t like to give things actual star ratings on the app anymore, but I just don’t feel right not giving it 5 stars. It was so exciting during the tennis matches, and the non linear storytelling really worked well for me, with it all surrounding one match. I really can’t think of many complaints I even have about it. Also, the score goes INSANELY HARD. I can’t wait to buy in on vinyl and turn it on while I do household chores to make it all feel elevated. This has a shot at my favorite of the year, although Dune is hard to beat (Zendaya is MVP so far this year)
