Monsters, Inc.
This is film good. I watched this only because it’s available for free on YouTube. Seriously, the upload is from 2013. lol.
This probably features the most accurate portrayal of an animated child put to film. Children are genuinely slippery like that. They WILL wander off to certain doom if you don’t keep your eyes on them at all times. Sure is convenient that there are no people present in those rooms except for children sometimes. But hey, I can let that slide, because the teleporting child is adorable. Also some random worker guy got shoved in a door and basically condemned to the same fate as Randall or whatever that main lizard guy’s name was I forgot. Seems kinda cruel why did the shaved guy do that it’s not his fault Sully happened to come out of there. He was condemned to eternal banishment over nothing!
Also what’s up with the kids being dangerous thing. Was that ever actually a problem or was that just made up cause that child got all over everything and they all seem to be doing fine, as called out by the film itself. So what was that all about? The lady in charge seems to want to keep shit secret, but why insist that kids are dangerous when they’re not? Does she need the money? Is her entire department some elaborate government corruption scheme like DOGE? Scratch that, DOGE wasn’t elaborate at all.
Anyways it’s good. And it’s nice to watch something with YouTube’s genuine well designed and consistent interface for once. Wouldn’t have rewatched this otherwise but I’m glad I did, it still holds up. But WE yes WE can ALL agree Cars is still GOATed though
I think I need to reassess my arbitrary scoring system, I’ve been giving too many three stars lately.
