Problemista

What a film, good lord. I was definitely not anticipating this becoming my favorite of the year thus far, and not only one of my favorites of the decade, but one of my new favorite films of all time.  A film like this really only does come around once in a blue moon, if even that. Torres, creates what is easily one of the best debut features ever, with astounding images, phenomenal writing, and delightful acting. Swinton gives one of her best performances of all time with her extremely over the top performance as Elisabeth, and Torres giving a very emotional and hilarious performance as Alejandro. Clearly a very personal film for Torres, it packs a lot of emotional punch and is really one of the funniest films of the century. Please go see this, so that we can get many more movies like it
