Whiplash

101/100 If i could give this movie six stars i would. Where to even BEGIN, the cinematography is outSTANDING, the sound design and soundtrack is obviously incredible, and the acting performances genuinely blew me away. Everyone’s performances were unbelievable , the most subtle micro expressions were just as impactful as the louder moments. By the end you feel like you understand every single character’s psychology, with very little actual dialogue used in the movie overall. I’ve never had a film grab and hold my attention captive like this one did, i couldnt even look away for a second. I had heart palpitations for the entire run which was probably not healthy. INCREDIBLE movie, worth all the flashbacks it gave me to my debate career. WATCH THIS MOVIE
