Stop Making Sense

When it first got started I thought I was in for an absolute slog. I literally have never listened to Talking Heads and assumed it was just gonna be a concert that is recorded with some cool shots. And that is technically true, but that sentiment doesn't scratch the surface. The concert itself was so incredible that even if you don't know the songs you'll have a good time. I wonder what it would be like if I knew and enjoyed the music. But my rating also doesn't translate super well because I'm used to movies and you cannot rate a documentary the same. There's really nothing wrong with it, so I guess you could call it a "masterpiece", but considering I don't listen to Talking Heads, it's not something I'm gonna die to come back to - just like I could enjoy a concert but not die to see that band again if I don't listen to them. But hey, this may make me start listening to some Talking Heads.
