Toy Story 2

Still my absolute favorite of the Toy Story’s and one of my favorite Pixar movies overall. It’s a perfect sequel that expands on both the main characters by giving woody a backstory and buzz a leadership role, and the side characters who didn’t get a lot of screen time in the first film like potato head, hamm, and slinky.  Plus of course the new additions of Jessie and bullseye (who many people forget weren’t introduced until this movie because they’ve become so synonymous with the gang) and the BEST twist villain of Pixar in Stinky Pete (yes I say he’s better than Lotso fight me🤣) It’s a lot of fun, with one of the most emotional moments in any animated film with “when somebody loved me” and it still tugs at the heart to this day! But overall a great sequel and surpasses the first one in every way. Shame Pixar couldn’t do that with any other of their franchise sequels.
