Before Midnight
Before Midnight is just an unequivocal banger. I don't understand how these movies just seem to resonate so deeply. The entire hotel room scene was one of the most realistic scenes I've ever seen in a film. I swear I've heard my parents having that same conversation or even a similar conversation with my ex. The pacing once again is just phenomenal and you are glued to the screen the entirety of the runtime, I genuinely believe Jesse and Celine are some of the most realistic and grounded written characters I've seen. The Before trilogy is just a perfect trilogy and it's not even close. I know I'll be coming back to these and I honestly kind of hope they do a fourth movie. I know a lot of people don't want to see that, but these characters can seriously be written until the actors are 80 and I'm sure the development would be amazing.
Spoiler:
I can't believe the first time you hear the characters say I love you is during an argument, absolutely fucking heartwrenching.
