Before Sunset
Before Sunset immediately catches your attention. The passing of time and the reality of missed moments resonates so hard. The entirety of the film, just watching Jesse and Celine struggling to grasp the amount of time that has passed and yet they still live in that one singular night. Neither of them can forget or move on and seeing each other again just solidifies that they needed to be with each other. The dialogue and pacing are so realistic and grounded and every second feels like a race against the clock. The runtime flys by so quickly and the ending is unironically one of the best endings to a movie I've ever seen. I wish I could say more, but Before Sunset seriously left me speechless. The only thing left to say about Before Sunset is that it joins the likes of Empire and Shrek 2 in the list of best sequels.
