Sinners

i have seen this film 4 times and i just love it more every single time, so this time im giving it an actual review. - this has gotta be one of my favorite films quite literally ever. i know it’s too new to know that for sure, but every second of this movie i had a shit eating grin on my face.  all of the time used to set up the characters is so well used and really makes you love everyone. the dynamic between each character is so nicely demonstrated. michael b jordan as both smoke and stack is so mind boggling. it really shows how broad of an actor michael is.  don’t even get me started on the music. i’ve been listening to I Lied To You constantly. i get chills every single time i listen to it because i immediately picture the GORGEOUS and powerful sequence that takes place during that song in the film. and MILES MOTHERFUCKING CATON is so talented. i was blown away by his performance and even more so when i found out it was his first film. Sammie is just such a loveable character that you root for the entire film. he feels so real and authentic. AND THE FACT SAMMIE NAMED HIS OWN JOINT PEARLINES 🥹 extremely bummed that i don’t live anywhere near an iMax theater
