I feel like this movie was so internationally well-received because it’s message transcends South Korea. It’s a universal theme about socioeconomic and something that almost everyone can comprehend on a surface level. Yet, it’s still packed with powerful metaphors and symbols that require deeper observations to catch. Honestly a masterpiece.
