Wonder Man

Rating: 90% If you want multiple big action set pieces and big moments with powers all the time, then this isn't for you. If you can appreciate a small-scale, low-stakes bromance character study set in the MCU, then you'll love this as I did. Simon Williams is one of my favorite MCU characters post-Endgame, and Trevor Slattery is a top-tier original MCU character that isn't used as a gag anymore, but is given actual depth. It's also hilarious. I haven't been this giddy after finishing a Marvel project in a long time. I think the all-at-once release was smart, as the episodes are only 25-35 minutes and wouldn't really carry week-to-week. It is very much a binge-worthy show. The Doorman bottle episode was very risky and different, but I'm glad it paid off. It's also hilarious that Josh Gad is canonically dead in the MCU. Everything in the last episode was so unexpected but still so cool. I'm also very excited for the future of Spider-Man because of Destin Daniel Cretton. He's proving to be a top-tier creative at Marvel. Very pleasantly surprised and I need more Simon and Trevor, as well as a season 2
