Dune: Part Two

It's always hard to give a movie five stars, because what movie deserves five stars? Dune isn't perfect. But damn, it is spectacular. It is THAT good of an adaptation that when you realise a detail from the books isn't included, you go "oh, really?". The themes, characters and even the dense lore are so well represented in Dune part one and two, it's honestly a miracle. It's still just one interpretation of Frank Herbert's world and it might not be perfect, but Dune is Dune. Chani is easily my favourite from part 2, her character, Zendaya's acting and especially the changes from the books are so good. She's so fierce but she adds another layer to Dune's themes, and she brings so much heart. The love theme is also where Hans Zimmer does all of his magic. I've been waiting for this movie for half of my life and it's everything I love.
