Ready Player One
The world made it so “normal” to judge people for being “nerds” but what is a nerd?
Loving something/someone so much you know everything about them? Isn’t that what being a lover is? Being a human? An inventor? A student? A teacher? Just because someone knows more about comic books, video games a movies doesn’t make them any less valuable in the world than the rest of you. The most famous singers/rappers/authors/doctors etc are nerds. What I like the most about this movie is how it shows there will always be a place for nerds out there to be free from judgement while also reminding them that it’s important to live in the real world too. I think all people who think nerds are “weird” just never had a moment to take a break from the ideal of their parents enough to be apart of that world we love so much. That’s why it’s hard for kids like us who used video games, movies, and media in general to escape our real world.. to be a functioning member like those who look down on us. I think we all just need a moment to live in eachothers world a realize whether it’s out there in the real world or in the fictional realm we’re all equal no matter what.
Never let anyone take what’s important to you.
(This movie is one of the best cgi movie ever made)
