Sinners
Long time coming!!! I was very excited to watch this movie because I’ve heard so many good things about it and I think for the most part it does live up to the hype AND I think that that there are parts of it that are a little disappointing, BUT I do wanna watch it again.
the first half of the movie is perfect, visually. I love how everyone is shown coming together to assemble this night club, and even the shots at the end of everyone working together to make this night happen. I also think that without a doubt I’m definitely watching this on the wrong screen because it’s not doing the colors of this movie any fucking justice and it pisses me the hell off. And I do think this movie would have absolutely hit in theaters so I do wish I could have expirenced it as it was meant to be. Also the post credit scene had me very emotional I can’t lie, a very beautiful and heartwarming display of the vampire condition.
My gripe with the movie comes the second half of this movie moves SO fast. Characters die with no time to reflect on them dying and what’s crazy is the beginning DOES flesh them out and does make me wanna mourn their deaths and mourn the night that could have been. I also do ding points off for TERRIBLE cgi, I understand you can’t have people burn like that with practical effects but something about it here just…felt a little cheesy.
All being said, I don’t trust a single white bitch with a banjo absolutely not
