Miracle

Only film to truly make me feel patriotic (which, let's be clear, I do not say lightly). I mean I would watch that scene of Mac shouting "I am a hockey player" at Herb on repeat if I had the time. There's a reason its in my four favorites on Letterboxd and thats because even though I've seen this movie dozens of times I get chills watching them play out one of the best, if not THE best, game in hockey history. ... and I also may or may not always tear up not just over the end of the film and Herb's monologue as the boys get their medals but also over the fact that I always forget that the actual Herb Brooks died before the film came out and he never got to see the lake placid game and everything that came with it immortalized so beautifully
