Twilight

My toxic trait is that I hole heartedly believe that this film is one of the best pieces of cinema in all of history, it’s rare nowadays that I sit down and watch a movie that fully pulls me into its universe and makes me invested in all the characters to such the degree that this masterpiece does. But alas I do get the hate, I understand people either love this film or they hate it I mean at the end of the day someone is going to be wrong it’s just inevitable but why hate when you can embrace the flaws that you so seek out to fulfil that curse inside, that primal instinct to be right, the need to prove others wrong just for the sake of it and oh how angry they get when they realise they can’t prove themselves so they just double down grasping at they’re non existent evidence and flawed logic. They truly don’t know what they’re missing out on. If they just shut their garlicky mouths for a millisecond and focused on the art set so kindly infront of them that they take for granted. Unthankful pale skins. But enough of them - this film is absolutely perfect, if this film were a person I would be unconditionally and irrevocably in love with them, in every crevice of its being it ooses greatness, even now, even 14 years later. Oh how wonderful it is and going years without watching it is a small price to pay to come anywhere near close to watching again for the first time, the longer you wait the easier it becomes, the more you forget, this time I waited four long and uneventful years and I can tell you truly it was worth it and now I can start living again. - My love letter to the unpersonified loml <3
