List

Remakes

Remakes, reboots, new interpretations or new adaptations of well-known films, series or materials are always hotly debated. Personally, I see the reason for the discussion, but I am a fan of many remakes. In this list I rank the remakes, reboots, etc that I have seen according to my personal opinion. In order for a film to end up in this list, I don't have to have seen the original version and films that I personally wouldn't call remakes or anything like Carpenter's "The Thing" or Cronenberg's "The Fly" end up in the list because they often seen as as such and are not the first adaptation of the material. If you are interested in my opinion on the film compared to the original, take a look at the notes. I probabyl missed some that I have seen, I will do my best to complete the list if I notice films that are missing.
