look, i'm not an overachiver myself, but i usually stay above average, and i sure seem boring as hell to all my classmates. i'm half way through my last year of high school, i still have no idea what i want to do later, i haven't had a real crush on anybody in like three years and everytime i've tried to party after about an hour of convincing myself i'm having fun i wanna go home (granted, parties here are nothing like y'all usamerican's parties). it's not like i didn't have the chances, is that it just wasn't what i liked doing the most.
even if i can't relate that much to amy and molly on those main aspects, the movie and specially them hit so freaking close to my heart. i know what it's like when people don't even look at you twice or when they think i try too hard, and even when you repeat over and over that you don't need validation you can't help but want it at time. and amy? i'm that friend, i'd follow my best friends anywhere, always overthinking whatever may happen but never not supporting them (ah, and also being a gay mess). thank you olivia wilde for making me feel less alone and remind me how fucking much i love my friends and myself.
