Lost in Translation
i wanted to like this movie so bad. it honestly could’ve been perfect if it weren’t for the racism and the creepiness of bill murray being TRIPLE scarlett johansson’s age here
it was all so dreamy and ethereal. the way it captures solitude but finding someone who makes you feel seen and heard melts my heart
but i can’t overlook the constant mockery of japanese people and the fact that scarlett johansson was 17 here.. if these were changed this movie would prob be in my all time favorites
