Scarface
i’ve always loved this movie since the first time I’ve watched it and now since I’m in like a more mature state of my life I do recognize that Tony was a bad person half of the time but on the other hand you can honestly kind of understand some of the choices that he made especially with Manny and his sister and Sosa and kind of somewhat with Elvira. I feel like with him and Elvira they loved each other at first but when Tony just became more arrogant with his money and all he talked about was money money money like a virus said he just began to lose it and they began to lose it and Elvira, at some point, did love him but the more she got used to life with him she lost interest and the more he talked about money the more she lost interest but on the other hand Tony really just liked the idea of being married, having kids, but I believe he did love her up until the end. He constantly checked up on her but his way of doing it was definitely wrong. I just think that some people are confused about their relationship dynamic it’s not something that you seen in typical real world stuff you know. With Tony and Manny “you reap what you sow” can be said in this situation. At the start of Tony finally reuniting with Gina Tony says to Manny don’t “mess with my sister I don’t want you talking to her ever” and then Manny goes behind his back and marries his sister like honestly I feel like he had it coming for him. He definitely didn’t deserve to be shot but Tony would have been so furious either way and I think that it was such a bad decision on Manny‘s part. But overall I love scarface. I love analyzing Tony’s choices and the characters around him. I feel like we need to watch this movie with multiple perspectives in mind.
