Bo Burnham: Inside
Wow. Wow wow wow. I know in my last review I said I didn’t know what to say about this movie anymore but I am going to try to with this review but I know no matter how much I write I won’t be able to do this film justice. There’s just too much to it. It’s a technical and emotional masterpiece. James from Schafrillas (or however you spell it) Productions put it best, it’s a rock opera odyssey. Bo’s specials aren’t normal comedy specials they are events that leave you with so much to think about afterward. One of the many amazing things is Bo did this all by himself. The shots are beautiful, the songs are catchy yet have depth, meaning, and symbolism to them, the colors are vibrant and match each song/section perfectly. Everything about this special is perfect. The emotional roller coaster Bo is able to take you on during this special is full of many highs and lows. It’s a special that will make you laugh hard and cry even harder. I should really stop myself now before I start rambling too much but I am so happy Bo made this. It is something truly special to me and I have no problem calling it perfect cinema.
