Magnolia

90% Magnolia is just… different. It's a truly unique film for me. The characters are so well-written, each with their own memorable story (though I felt Julianne Moore's storyline was a bit weaker than the others), and the great performances make them even stronger — Tom Cruise has rarely been better. The film is amazing, but I thought it was a little too long in places. A slightly shorter cut might have worked better. The music works perfectly with the scenes, making them even more powerful. It’s the kind of movie that stays with you long after it ends. You watch it once, and you already know you’ll come back, because there’s always more to discover.
