Back to the Future
No idea if this was purposeful or not but I got to see this masterpiece in the theaters exactly on November 5th. Definitely wasn't disappointed.
I can't even remember the last time I've seen this but I'm so glad i finally rewatched it. I love everything about it from the atmosphere to the acting and the whole general storyline. This is so well made too.
The atmosphere and this whole movie in general are so nostalgic to me, both in a personal and in a generic way. I love the golden 80s typa vibe mixed with the 50s, and also the themes of time travel.
Ugh actually speaking on time travelling I love how this movie deals with paradoxes having to do with time travelling. Even though there's still many it doesn't deal with, (including how Lorraine and George would recognize Marty) I feel like it perfectly explains some and I literally couldn't stop thinking about them all througout this film.
Marty travelling to the past and messing up the timeline, leading to his parents never getting together and eventually him and his siblings slowly fading away from existence,, Verbatim the grandfather paradox. It gets almost philosophical the more you think about it.
Then again the more you think about it, if Marty DIDN'T end up succeeding in getting his parents together and instead faded away from existence, wouldn't that just cancel out everything that happened. I.e. Marty didn't jump in front of the car, instead it was his dad, his parents got together and had him. But then again that would mean he WOULD end up traveling back in time again. It's like a never ending loop. Anyways it's actually getting too philosophical now.
This film is something you could never get tired of, it's such a classic. I could watch this over and over and just love it more every time.
This was more of just a yap about the movie not a crazy analysis but it's okay.
