tbh i knew i was going to like it so i cant be that surprised. cried the entire second half basically. jacobi jupe was the biggest surprise for me - he was PHENOMENAL. paul mescal knows exactly who he is and i hate him (not really, he makes me feel all the emotions i try not to feel). jessie buckley deserves every good thing being said about her and more.
just such a beautiful film. definitely not perfect, but i’m a sucker for this kind of picture.
