> ***Fuck this franchise!*** It wasn't as bad as I remembered. Maybe my initial rating for this movie was so low because I was forced to watch it again for the first time. It was actually pretty good. Of course, it's not as good as the first one, but still, a good movie. Certainly better than 5, and I definitely enjoyed it more. I don't know why I didn't like it so much the first time. A very good opening scene. It might seem like there's no connection, but in the end it turned out to be something completely different. The opening scenes in this franchise are always great. Very good connection with the previous part. When I watched it the first time, I had no idea who the characters were and I was completely blown away. Now, I've got it all figured out. Watching this movie without the previous ones was definitely a mistake. And the film, as part of a franchise, is truly excellent. The murder scenes were definitely the most graphic we've seen so far. Those Ghostfaces were also definitely more psychotic. They supposedly had the same theme as Nancy Loomis, but they presented it much better. Their reveal was just average to me. While Quinn's reveal was very good, the rest... I didn't really like it. The worst part was definitely Ethan's discovery. It was just stupid. Again, I adore Tara's character in this installment. Jenna played her brilliantly, even better than in the previous installment. As for Sam, I understand why everyone suspected her and that Quinn was the one who spread the rumor, but why wasn't Sidney accused of it all those years ago? Surely someone had spread something like that back then, so why didn't they pick up on it as much as the rumor about Sam? Maybe it's just a little weird for me. But I really felt sorry for Sam for what she went through. After all, she didn't choose whose daughter she was. I felt sorry for Mindy too. She lost two girlfriends in Ghostface's attack. Seriously, leave her alone. She's a very cool character and it's a shame they hurt her so much. And finally, it's a real shame Sidney wasn't here. I mean, I understand why she wasn't here, but somehow, in the previous installment, she could have appeared, even having children. She should have gotten at least a minute of screen time. The movie would have been a hundred times better. I've loved her character from the beginning and she deserves peace, but she could have had some screen time after all. It's good that we got a bit of Gale, though. And, of course, Kirby's return. Honestly, there are only a few logical holes in this movie. If it weren't for the absence of Sidney, the movie would have been much better. [scream ranked౨ৎ](https://boxd.it/XRrNs)

> ***I'm Sidney fucking Prescott of course I have a gun.*** Honestly, I don't know what to think of this film. I admit, this was my second attempt at seeing it. Long story short. One upon a time, at my then-friend's birthday party, I was perfidiously forced to watch it. Maybe that's why I have such bad memories of this film and, strange as it may be, it influenced my opinion of it a bit. Back then I was still scared as hell of horror movies and watching over an hour of this thing had a terrible effect on me. Back then I really didn't want to watch it because I was just scared. Then this friend told me that how can anyone be afraid of even the most unsettling horror movies. If I were still in touch with this girl, I would make her read these reviews. Luckily, I'm not anymore. > ***For Dewey.*** Now, as for the movie, it was kind of... okay. This franchise keeps falling and rising. I don't know how they do it. If I were the creators, I'd be tired of the same old story. I really understand the phenomenon and the fact that fans want more episodes, but why bother? In my opinion, even though I liked the fourth installment, I would have ended this trilogy after the third. It's just getting boring. It's the same story over and over again, just with different killers. Because why the fuck did they make this sequel to a sequel after all these years? It could have been done without it, honestly. When I think about the fact that there are two more parts to this, I wonder if I even want to watch it. The first parts were really good and enjoyable, but then it just kept changing. Sometimes it was good, sometimes it was bad. Jenna Ortega played the role of Tara really well. She's probably my favorite character in this movie. Jenna is a really good actress, she just stars in bad movies. But seriously, she's one of the best actresses of this time. Mikey Madison is also a very good actress. Her portrayal of Amber was wonderful. Amber was a good psychopath, but I'm tired of this "it's because of the movies" trope. It's so typical of this franchise. They could come up with something else. The fact that they all blamed each other, yet trusted each other at the same time, was kind of weird. Didn't it really just dawn on anyone that Amber was throwing a wild party "for Wes"? I understand they wanted to honor him, but they weren't even sad about his death. That's not how it's done, people, I'm begging you, just live it up. As for Sam's character, she was really cool. The fact that she's Billy's daughter and somehow sees him in her reflection, the pressure and all, they really pulled it off well. I think her character holds up and is played really well by the actress. Gale is, as always, an icon. I honestly can't believe they killed off Dewey... I loved his character. He's been through so much that instead of letting him rest, they killed him off. It's so unfunny. It's such a shame. I'm so sorry about Gale. Honestly, she's been through so much too. And Sidney, that's just the way it is. She finally found peace, until some idiotic couple disturbs it again. Leave her alone. This part was also a bit more graphic, and it shows. The murder scenes were more graphic. Especially Dewey's murder. In fact, the whole scene in the hospital... It was complete carnage. That opening scene was also... One of the best, if not the best. Jenna did a fantastic job in that scene. Seriously, she's a wonderful actress. The murder scenes were so... Maybe a little scary. This part was brutal, but not the worst. I also feel like it was a cash grab. The great return of the Scream after all these years. [scream ranked౨ৎ](https://boxd.it/XRrNs)

> ***What good's it to be a survivor in this little drama if everyone close to you is dead?*** Definitely one of the best Scream episodes ever. Of course, the first one will always be the best, but this one was amazing too. Like, oh my god, it was so good. Like I knew who the killer was, but I was so surprised. I didn't expect that ending at all! Jill as Ghostface is a masterpiece. Her character was truly brilliantly played. Everything she did was so well-executed. Truly, one of the best portrayals of Ghostface in the entire film series. Simply gold. The discovery of her identity was so iconic. Probably the best I've seen so far. It's simply unbelievable what a mastermind she was in this operation. I really enjoyed watching it. This part was a bit more graphic than the first three. There wasn't as much comedy in this part as in the first. No one was chasing each other or crashing into tables, you just know what I mean. But I think that's what I like most about this installment. It's not as ridiculous as the previous ones, and that's a good thing. Finally, a little more drama. I still love Gale's character. She's just so wonderful. Definitely my favorite character in the entire series. As for Sidney, she's still a great character, but I'm a little tired of everyone. This is another installment with the same characters, whom I love, of course, but I'm glad we'll get new characters in the next installment. It's such a refreshing change after all these years. This skip-time was a good choice for many years. People seemed to have almost forgotten about this issue, but suddenly it made a comeback. Quite a good idea. I also liked the portrayal of these high school students. I think they really showcased this community well. That beginning was pretty good too! At first I was a little confused and didn't understand what was going on because it was just a movie within a movie. But still a good idea. The producers of Scream aren't running out of ideas. The best part of this movie was definitely Jill. Emma Roberts played her so brilliantly, it's mind-boggling. Seriously, give her an award for this. [scream ranked౨ৎ](https://boxd.it/XRrNs)

> ***Psychos can't kill what they can't find.*** A pretty good conclusion to the whole trilogy. So why do we have another four installments? I have no idea, but in my opinion, after an ending like that, they're no longer necessary. After all, the person who started this is already dead. Sidney leaving the door open symbolizes her freedom and the end of this whole horror. SO WHY DO WE HAVE 4 MORE PARTS??? Probably the worst film in the entire series. There was very little Sidney in it, and in my opinion, if there had been more of her, the film would have been much better. It's nice that there was quite a bit of Gale, but really, The actors from Stab 3 were on screen the entire time, and it irritated me a bit because I wanted to see more of the original characters. Sidney is supposedly the main character, but there's so little of her. It was great that we got Sidney's mother's backstory. The plot twist about who Roman really turned out to be and that he was the reason Billy started killing was very good. Roman is a really well-written character. His motivation was very good, and the actor played him very well. But still, in my opinion, Stu and Billy were the best Ghostfaces; their actors played them brilliantly. I simply adore the character of Sidney. She's probably the smartest female character in horror. Dewey same! They're both very intelligent characters for being in a horror movie. Together, they make a really good duo, probably my favorite in the entire movie. Gale and Dewey are also a great couple. I really liked all the characters. But it ended up being more of a funny comedy than a horror film. Honestly, I thought this movie was hilarious. Only that opening scene was terribly suspenseful. The rest was just hilarious.
