actually this is movie of the year, not a day goes by without me thinking about this like it's genuinely so good and it's hard to top for 2024. need more exciting films like this. can't stress enough that this was a cultural reset and also like a brain factory reset for my head.   i realise the adidas (art) and nike (patrick) rivalry as well during the us open '06. i love rewatching this because i pick up new things every time and favourite scene of the rewatch might be when tashi and patrick argue. and you know what patrick is such an asshole but he at least admits it and i love how he decided to go through with telling art at the end. i noticed a lot of their expressions in this rewatch and also found that everything was just so intentional, even down to the tv voice snippets. love love love always
