Death by Lightning
Wow, I have no words for how awesome this was. This is exactly how I want a limited series to be done. A simple 4 episodes, relatively short and zero filler. What a cast, what great performances, what a story; I can’t believe some of this stuff even happened. The Republican Party back then really was the antithesis of what it’s become now, and James Garfield seemed like a truly good man, the kind of man that is devoid from our politics today unfortunately. It’s also a lot more playful, light and funnier than I thought it’d be. Zero complaints, seriously.
