Lady Vengeance

this was amazing from start to finish, the way it slowly builds up her story and lets you sit with her pain and anger was just so well done, every scene felt purposeful and layered. the cinematography was stunning, so many beautiful yet haunting shots, and the acting was incredible, you really feel her coldness but also the humanity underneath, it’s brutal but also strangely moving. lee young-ae been a favorite since i watched jewel in the palace. the themes of revenge and forgiveness were handled perfectly, it left me thinking about it long after it ended, honestly a masterpiece for me.
