wow.. at first I was so thrown off by the camera angles, but then through out the movie i felt like it was the best way to capture this work. very unique filmmaking and peculiar! it was my first Anno work actually. the movie was very real, showing how during this period of age, you just want to buy and get everything you desire, Hiromi never said why she wanted that ring, that’s why it’s very realistic since everything in this period is pointless. very different from other highschool movies which talk about happy moments and memories lasting forever. this movie left me sad and disgusted at the end but thats just a poignant way of looking at life.
