Superman
this was kinda my first time really watching anything superman related and honestly it was a good entry point, he didn’t feel like some untouchable hero, more like a real person with powers who still cares about people, it was colorful, light at times, serious when it needed to be, and it never felt too dark or heavy, it actually made me get why people like this character.
david corenswet really sold that mix of kindness and strength, the villain had some depth without being cartoonish, and the humor wasn’t forced though a few moments felt a bit stretched, the flying scenes didn’t click with me AT ALL but nothing that ruined the experience.
for a first proper superman experience this worked well, it felt hopeful and easy to follow without needing to know all the history, it’s not a perfect movie but it made me interested in seeing more from this world which i didn’t expect at all.
