The Substancevioletcries9.6· October 13, 2024Followthis was definitely worth the wait, i was gagged.. demi moore truly excelled in conveying the emotional depth of her role, fully embracing her character, depicting deteriorating mental health, while margaret highlights this contrast with her vibrant energy. the roles were ideally cast. this is already a cult classic, the cinematography is absolutely stunning really liked how they transition from the close up shots to border shots. with captivating visual storytelling from the first frame till the last one, we get to see and connect with the characters and get to see their insecurities, the close up shots highlighting their imperfect details then it zooms out to show us the whole shot with those details hidden. the thing that irritated me and made me not give it a 5 is how through the whole movie we hear the person says that its the same person, you are one, blah blah and makes you think they are just switching bodies, but if you are not working together, why didn't you stop knowing it sacrificed your body in the process, maybe that went over my head.. 2024 rankedCommentsSign in to react and join the conversation.Sign inGet the app
