Kill Bill: Vol. 1
KILL BILL Volume 1
My first Quentin Tarantino Film
Chapter 1
The film already starts with a banger of introduction you get to learn the characters and what her priorities is.Not a bad way to start a film and I love it when movies just give you action as soon as possible and Vernita being killed infront of her daughter is crazy to me,it really shows how the movies is going to be later on.
Chapter 2
When the film starts I was a little confused but excited since I heard a lot of goods things about this man and his taste on feet. But it was good knowing what the first scene meant and knowing what she’s doing and her purpose ( Also side note I love the kill list ) and her waking up and instantly screaming and crying was a good touch for the scene.
Chapter 3
First of all, I did not expect this but I’m all in for it, The animation is phenomenal for its time and the art style I really love it.And i prefer this than live action because it really shows how fucked up O-Ren Ishii past was and feels inspired by anime and makes her origin story more intense and stylistic.
Chapter 4
Honestly one of my favorite chapters in the film,I love the conversation between The Bride and Hattori Hanzon some parts of the dialogue is funny to me and the atmosphere was really good and you can tell they thought about this. And Hazon giving the katana to The Bride was so fucking cool
Chapter 5
This chapter is a masterpiece,It’s constant fighting when the battle begins and coming up to this was perfect. The bride vs Gogo was a interesting battle and I love how they showed Gojo personality in the film so you know what your getting at,And I love the idea of the close weapon vs far range weapon idea was phenomenal.Crazy 88 Member, wow this was incredible,The black and white / Regular color really stuck out to me and the gore is amazing and let’s talk about the cinematography every shot was captured amazingly and I love the movements from each character and the kills were gruesome and I loved it when The bride used two katanas.
The Bride vs O-Ren Ishii
This battle was amazing,It’s compelling and fantastic. The lighting, cinematography, the atmosphere even the snow makes this battle tense. This battle was worth the 1 hour and 40 minutes and its payoff makes it unforgettable. The dialogue before the fight is calm, but when they start fighting the dialogue feels tense and intense. It really shows Quentin Tarantino’s point of view, as he didn’t try to make it a full fight, instead having both an interesting battle with dialogue.
