Honestly, it was kinda simple and interesting for the first 50 minutes until the plot twist came around and the whole movie changed for me. Your Name has beautiful storytelling and may not have the best dialogue, but it sure will keep you entertained. The art and atmosphere are beautiful, and it was so refreshing seeing the small details. I watched it in 720p sadly, but it still looked incredible. The animation is incredibly good and so mesmerizing. The characters are enjoyable, and both main characters are well-written and funny to me. Their relationship is complex, but it’s phenomenal. The emotional moments are actually really good and one of the best aspects of the movie. The soundtrack is a masterpiece, and every song gave me chills.
