Doona!
I absolutely loved this show. I was immersed into every second of the show and thought that the plot and relationships were perfect. Even though most say Doona is a walking red flag—which is kind of true—you have to understand her situation and where she was at in life. She dug herself into deep self-hatred and already had a tough life going on with that. She had hella issues, but nevertheless, I still absolutely love her character and how she was written. This drama was not like the other sappy kdramas, it was something real, and I like that. The dynamic between Won-Jun and Doona was perfect, even though they came from completely different worlds, were completely different people, and just really shouldn't have worked, they were a perfect fit. The tension between them was so good too and I loved every scene with them. With all the issues they had within their relationship, they truly loved each other in the end. SHE truly loved him, and for the first time, she realized that he wasn't someone disposable. He “fixed” her in the end. They completed and complemented each other, and their chemistry was great. On top of the great acting and story, the cinematography and music was amazing too. I absolutely loved the way it was filmed—it kind of reminded me of Our Beloved Summer—and the way it was filmed, represented the storyline and the emotions that came with it. With that was the music that came with it, I feel like every aspect of the show from filming to acting to music and to the plot just fell into place. But the only thing that truly disappointed me was the open ending, which is something everyone hates. Although I believe that they worked out in the end, it was just unsatisfying to see the last scene. I also would have liked seeing even more of them, but in the end I really enjoyed this drama and hope to see more like it. The heartbreak and issues the characters had with each other was real and different to watch, which I love.
