Decided to rewatch this and damn it hit even harder on the second watch. This series was spot on and a beautiful realistic story about a complicated relationship between two broken souls and captures their journey as they grow older. This series really captures the character development, growth and love in all characters. I can go on and on about how astonishing this show is. The therapy scene was phenomenal, I think Connell's feelings during his therapy session were very relatable, I'm so glad they included that scene in the show. He movingly shows us vulnerability and what grief can look like. How life can become so unrecognizable and changed, how we can feel we do not fit in it, and how some of the best times in our lives we cant ever return to. One of the best mini series out there.
