Minority Report

Honestly we were robbed of more Steven Spielberg and Tom Cruise films. And I think this is like Top 5 Tom Cruise, such a great film (behind magnolia and a few good men but up there with mission impossible and top gun). Punchy action, engaging story, awesome cyberpunk and dystopic themes. But more importantly it tackles really tough philosophical questions like what is choice, what is agency, what does it mean to know your own future and are you beholden to it. Knowing your future can be dangerous, can you really change it? And of course there are all of the moral implications of stopping a crime before it’s even committed. Anyway, such an awesome film.
