Kurasawa is the GOAT - you know that it’s an incredible film if 3 hours go by and you didn’t even realize it.
The cinematography, makeup, production design, clothing are all absolutely top tier. And the message and writing was superb.
Oh yeah and do yourself a favor and watch this masterpiece in 4K.
