Phantom Thread
Best film I've ever scene. This film shocked me from the start with like the almost perfect cinematography and I think the tone of Britain fitted this so well and obviously PTA wrote It for Britain but I genuinlely think this Is so perfectly written for Britain that It's just the most immersive film. Reynolds obnoxious and pretentious behavior Is so annoying and so great, he Is one of the best characters written In my humble opionon and Daniel Day Lewis Is actually the greatest actor of all time, like how Is this not just a real person, but It does'nt feel like a real person but something more almost a character written to have values that everyone can relate to, I related heavily to his crashout scene when he gets mad over a niche word that has no meaning other than being niche being said, I get mad If somebody starts saying those words when I'm already slightly aggrivated. The acting by every single person In the cast Is so out of this world and just beautiful. The colorgrade of this film and It's color scheme can seem boring at times but If you watch closely you can see It becomes more colorful on a certain character and slightly more dull on another. The score of this film might be the best ever and It fits so so well to the themes of the film and honestly everything about this Is the best, best acting I've seen, maybe not best cinematography but close, great colorgrading but not the best, the best writing and pacing, best costume design and one of the most well directed films of all time, this Is truly a moder masterpiece
