Absolutely insane this movie isn’t more popular.  Camp Nowhere with maturity. What Sandlot wishes it could be. Stand By Me if it was fun. American Honey vibes-over-plot for kids. Idk what more you could want than Joe Flaherty teaming up with Christopher McDonald again, but the phenomenal performances by these child actors combined with its sparse-but-cutting ephemeral love and friendship story (perfect for the “endless summer” coming-of-age genre) makes this the best camp movie of all time. Let’s go Nova Scotia
