The Lighthouse

A surrealistic dreamlike movie with amazing symbolism . There are many scenarios I have thought about but my favourite is that Robert pattinson s character “like another Prometheus “ “steal” the light from the gods (he sees the light) and his punishment like the myth is to be eaten by seabirds for the eternity .i still believe that Defoe was his subconscious that is why they never work the same hours and he sees his subconscious there because he fantasises swing the light . Also this is why he talks with him only drunk (before they barely communicate ) because on those moments the boundary between him and his inner self breaks . Loved the dead bird symbolism
