Se7en

I often wonder why Brad Pitt is rated as an actor so much but I've watched Se7en and I'm reminded why he is one of the best, it baffles me how he didn't get an Oscar nomination for his role in what was a relatively weak year as well, same with the whole film only getting one nomination. Maybe i'm missing some lore or something but it doesn't make sense too me. I underrated this film the first time I watched it, it's no doubt a classic film. The pace of the film is well thought out I believe it managed to find the median between too fast or slow because for the whole film your sucked in and focused. The scene where they first chase 'John Doe' through the apartment complex is amazing, you never see anything that hints or give any clues to the type of person they are kinda until he holds the gun to Mills head. It immerses you into the film but it doesn't just immerse you by trying to guess the killer but rather you trying to literally just find out the intentions of the killer, it's hard to explain but ik what i'm talking about.
