Furthermore, **beware that the favourites featured in my top four tends to change frequently, often based upon my most recent watches, so it does not fully reflect my actual favourites. * * * *Additionally, when I rate a film five-stars, it doesn’t necessarily mean that I find the film perfect, but rather a way to show that I am fond of the film.* * * *(Account created on 05/07/2025)* *Certain reviews and logs may perhaps not align with the original date I did watch it. Additionally, please read my two pinned reviews, I’d appreciate it significantly. Well, ideally every single one of my reviews, but I shall be content with the two pinned ones.*

I really should’ve listened to people that said that one shouldn’t watch this for the sake of their mental health, I really should’ve. Fuck you Studio Ghibli for making this. I could hardly breathe during the end.

Besides the sheer fact that it’s incredibly pleasurable to revisit a classic motion picture such as The Godfather, the very fact that I watch it while being merely a few miles from the village of Corleone in Sicily is something utterly remarkable. I fully intend to visit the village of Corleone when I leave for Palermo in a few days, hence why I decided to watch this film.

*Close your eyes Have no fear The monster's gone He's on the run And your daddy's here* *Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful Beautiful boy Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful Beautiful boy*

What can I say? It’s a Nancy Meyers film - it has its charm and its flaws, but is, in spite of everything, perfect.
