GoodFellas
Sex, money, violence. If you aren't mesmerized during this film by its engrossing and witty dialogue, you will be by the constant action and violent happenings. I prefer Goodfellas to other mafia movies such as The Godfather because it follows the captivating story of the rise and fall of Henry Hill, rather than just being thrown into the madness of a random family. I thought Joe Pesci's performance as a forceful madman really grabbed the viewers attention whenever he was on screen. And of course Robert De Niro and Ray Liotta were fantastic as well. The opening scene is also up there for one of my favorites of all time, immediately introducing the viewer to the frightening and ruthless life of the mafia. Goodfellas is a good movie with some not so good fellas.
