Prisoners

This movie defines the genre of "thriller".  Never in my life had a been on the edge of my seat during the entire movie, there were multiple times I had to stop myself from skipping forward in the movie to find out what happens.  Why Hugh Jackman wasn't nominated for an Oscar for this performance is beyond me, and Jake Gyllenhaal once again proved why he has always been one of my favorite actors.  The way this movie was shot, having been nominated for best cinematography, makes the movie feel so real and just further creates an adrenaline rush for the viewer.  Prisoner's unique ending confirmed that there wasn't a single second of this movie that wasn't entertaining.
