Angel's Egg

Yeah that final shot is haunting. Inject this post-apocalyptic world filled with biblical imagery into my veins. Felt a bit slow at times but the soundtrack, art and character design is amazing. I thought the abandoned town setting looked fantastic and it gave me serious grimdark vibes. It was so eerie and visually pleasing that it felt like it was pandering to me and my love of dilapidated, post-cataclysmic locations in fiction. In all honesty, this film felt like a love letter to the entire genre of grimdark fantasy (my favourite kind of fantasy). I really liked it. Keep precious things inside you, or you will lose them.
