Transformers One

"RISE UP!" Gonna show this to my future kid to radicalise them. D16 did nothing wrong. Ripping that bastard in half was deserved. Watching D16's slow descent from being completely opposed to breaking protocol to being the one who rallies others under a shared hatred for those in power is done so spectacularly in this film I will never stop loving it. Big fan of how they use his eye colour to show how far he's gone throughout the film. Also, Brian Tyree Henry gives an Oscar worthy performance in this, he's incredible. The designs in this film are also fantastic. Lots of cool references to other Transformers media that made me extremely happy when I first watched it in the cinema (can you tell that I have autism?). Found it really cool that during 'The Fall' scene the score incorporates elements of the 'Death of Optimus Prime' theme from the '86 movie. Also, this film looks incredible with some crazy robot gore. Wish the advertising was better, Hasbro failed this film and we'll never get a sequel now. Fuck. Please watch this guys. Please. NO, I WANT TO KILL HIM! I want to put Sentinel in chains and march him through the mines, so everyone can see him for the false Prime that he is. I want him to suffer and then to die, in darkness. But, we all know it doesn't matter what I want, right Pax?
