I genuinely have no clue what this film is trying to message. Is it a critique of violence as a reaction to life's hard truths? Is it about an American Psycho, realising how maddening everyday life is? Is it about a racist middle-aged man with anger issues that we are meant to condemn? Is D-Fens supposed to be the bad guy? Is the ending ironic? Am I going insane?
