Sinners

It’s my birthday and what better way to celebrate it than with a movie I’ve been wanting to watch for almost a year now! I’m so annoyed it’s taken me so long to get to this and my biggest regret is not being able to see this masterpiece in cinema. This movie effortlessly blends what feels like three different films into one and it does it flawlessly. It has such a unique take on vampires and an endearing cast of characters. There were multiple scenes throughout which I feel just have to be experienced on the big screen, particularly Sammie’s performance. I was caught so off guard and the en so entranced, the way this movie shows the importance of cultural music and how it brings people together is beautiful. I’m not the first person, nor the last, to sing this movie’s praises, and I’m saying everything you’ve already heard before. But this film is just one you can watch and instantly tell that it’s going to become a classic. What a masterpiece.
