we need to bring back the concept of hot people killing fascists. this was really fun to watch and I need to look like 90s Pamela Anderson so bad.

Never, in my goddamn life, have I ever been more disgusted by a movie as much I am with this one. GOOD GOD.

It had some of the best shadows I've ever seen in a movie, but it lost points because of how lackluster it was. Marlene Dietrich looked absolutely gorgeous in this, but her acting was bland, this movie is not a good example if you want to showcase the superstar she was. It felt very sauceless and very white saviour complex core. The chemistry between the main couple was nonexistent. Just meh.

I love Shinya Tsukamoto's works but this wasn't it for me. It is visually stunning and it has a cool title, Chisato was pretty badass but that was it. It is extremely boring and the story doesn't make any sense at all. There were some parts I felt I was on a roller-coaster instead of watching a movie, with some of the most nauseating camera work I've ever seen. I was pausing the movie every 20 minutes because it bored me out of my mind. The expectations weren't definitely met.
