It had some of the best shadows I've ever seen in a movie, but it lost points because of how lackluster it was.
Marlene Dietrich looked absolutely gorgeous in this, but her acting was bland, this movie is not a good example if you want to showcase the superstar she was.
It felt very sauceless and very white saviour complex core. The chemistry between the main couple was nonexistent. Just meh.
